A family tradition brewed since 2012, in the heart of Madrid.
Taza Española began as a small family kitchen tradition — our founder's grandmother roasting beans by hand and serving café con leche to neighbors every morning. In 2012, that tradition found a home on Calle Mayor, where it has welcomed the people of Madrid ever since.
Today, we still roast our own beans, bake with local partners, and greet every guest the way our abuela greeted her neighbors — with warmth, patience, and a good strong cup of coffee.
Every recipe is rooted in genuine Spanish tradition, passed down through generations.
We source ethically-grown beans and partner with local Madrid bakeries for fresh pastries daily.
Our café is a gathering place — for old friends, new visitors, and everyone in between.
